Workshop: Mixology of Whites

Is snow truly white or is just what you have been taught to believe? What about those fluffy clouds overhead? What about a wedding gown or christening dress? Are they white or is something else going on? As an artist, how in the world do you mix the colors to present a believable white? This is a one-day class reviewing specifically the many colors that make up the wide and varied nuances of white as it appears in flowers, clouds, snow, clothing and a thousand other places. Here’s a tip: It’s all about the light. And it’s not hard to learn. It’s about learning to really see; and learning to mix what you see.
