Back INN Time is located in the heart of the Northern Neck, situated between Kilmarnock and Irvington, which provides guests with a wide variety of activities with some of the best museums and historic sites in Virginia. Enjoy nature trails, wine trails, oyster trails, antiquing, golf at two award-winning courses, fine dining, and fishing or daytrips on the Chesapeake Bay. Take a short walk to downtown Kilmarnock to grab a bite to eat, stop at the many antique or boutique shops, and maybe catch the trolley and do the Kilmarnock-Irvington-White Stone loop.
Upon arrival, enjoy afternoon tea and crumpets which are served at 4 p.m. on the glass in the veranda or in the parlor in front of a warm fireplace. Offering yesterday’s atmosphere with all the modern conveniences of today.
Morning brings the aroma of fresh ground coffee and a gourmet breakfast which may include quiche, fritatta, warm muffins, ham, waffles or our specialty “Back INN Time Sticky Buns” made with real maple syrup.
Back INN Time, an early 1908 Southern Manor, is set back from Irvington Road and is surrounded by an assortment of old and new trees and plants featuring old English Boxwood, azalea, a wisteria pergola, herb and flowering gardens and over 40 rose bushes covering two acres located just a few blocks from downtown Kilmarnock. The manor has warm (original) wood flooring, nine-foot ceilings and oversized windows which allow abundant natural light throughout the home.
